The Kingsmead Neighbourhood Plan is a great opportunity to put forward your views on our area and how it can be improved.  

Once approved, the Kingsmead Neighbourhood Plan will sit alongside the East Herts District Plan, and decisions on planning applications will be made using both the East Herts District Plan and the Kingsmead Neighbourhood Plan.

KNP Hertford is a group of local volunteers driven by a single goal;

to do our bit to make Kingsmead Ward a better place for all.
Our vision is to 
help develop a sustainable, safe and prosperous neighbourhood by ensuring good quality developments of residential, small business, local shops and local services that meet the needs of Kingsmead residents & organisations, whilst protecting bio-diversity, and enhancing the green spaces of Kingsmead. To provide new and diverse leisure /recreational activities in order to promote safe, healthy and crime-free lifestyles, for all generations. To improve local communications; be a sounding board, and focus for all Kingsmead
