Following on from our two consultation meetings;

one at Pinehurst Community Centre and the other at Meadside Garage we have collated all of your feedback on our policies and present it in the attached document.
We have also taken action on issues raised during the consultations:
Parking of contractor vans on the bowl barrow near the Pinehurst Community Centre - Cllr Bolton has checked with East Herts District Council and Network Homes. There shouldn't be any repeats of parking on the barrow but Cllr Bolton has asked for photos to be sent to her if anyone spots anyone doing this.
Yellow lining on corners on Pinehurst and condition of pavements - Cllr Crystall has taken this up with Hertfordshire County Council
Closure of the level crossing on the New River Path - KNP has drafted an Open Letter to the CEOs of Thames Water and Network Rail which has been signed by a number of councillors from both Ware and Hertford. Both Town Councils are also sending a letter.
Other issues (manifold drain, Tamworth Road pavements etc) are being discussed with Kingsmead Residents Association to determine which organisation takes these forward.
We will be working on putting together the Draft Neighbourhood Plan from the Draft Policies and are planning our next consultation in the Autumn. This will be the statutory consultation termed the 'Regulation 14' consultation which, once all the edits have been made to the Draft Neighbourhood Plan, will mean that it can be submitted to East Herts District Council ready for the next consultation (Regulation 16) and then, after a referendum, we should have a Neighbourhood Plan forming part of the planning policies and requirements for Kingsmead!
