We receive, collect and store any information you enter on our website or provide us in any other way. In addition, we collect the Internet protocol (IP) address used to connect your computer to the Internet; login; e-mail address; password; computer and connection information and purchase history. We may use software tools to measure and collect session information, including page response times, length of visits to certain pages, page interaction information, and methods used to browse away from the page. We also collect personally identifiable information (including name, email, password, communications); payment details (including credit card information), comments, feedback, product reviews, recommendations, and personal profile.
Although we are a bunch of volunteers and may have no idea how to use any of this information.
We collect such Non-personal and Personal Information for the following purposes:

To provide and operate the Kingsmead Neighbourhood Plan (KNP)

To continue to inform and contact our Users about the KNP

To create aggregated statistical data and other aggregated and/or inferred Non-personal Information, which we may use to demonstrate community involvement in the KNP

The KNP is hosted on the Wix.com platform. Wix.com provides us with the online platform that allows us to communicate the KNP to you. Your data may be stored through Wix.com’s data storage, databases and the general Wix.com applications. They store your data on secure servers behind a firewall.
We don’t take any payments

We may contact you to notify you regarding your membership account or to troubleshoot problems with your account, to poll your opinions through surveys or questionnaires, to send updates about the KNP, or as otherwise necessary to contact you to enforce our User Agreement, applicable national laws, and any agreement we may have with you. For these purposes we may contact you via email, telephone, text messages, and postal mail.

Being a flood plain does not stop development
Having the land designated as a Local Green Space in a Neighbourhood Plan means that land of a similar nature would be required within Kingsmead were the meads to be developed which affords the meads (that are not common land) a bit of additional protection
The draft policies are not saying that the meads should or could be developed, they are saying the opposite. But, to have a Neighbourhood Plan get through all of the hurdles necessary to become part of the local Planning requirements it needs to show community support.
So, if you, like our Working Groups, think that the meads should not be developed then please make sure you complete our survey, and, if you want to be more involved join one of our working groups.
I would note that we have had responses on our previous survey indicating that the meads should be developed. These were in a small minority
I'm concerned by the very mention of "should the Meads that are not common land be available for building houses". i had, perhaps naively, thought that all the grassland as it is now was effectively needed as the flood plain of the valley, precluding any further development regardless of ownership of the land? so I'm worried that the idea is in circulation? also wording such as "will be permitted where appropriate mitigation measures can be delivered" with regard to development proposals is frightening, that leaves the situation open? who decides on what is acceptable mitigation? sorry to be so pessimistic on what is I guess the reality of 2021.
