So, following on from our post on the lack of sightings being

recorded in Kingsmead we had a plethora of photos and notifications from people reporting wildlife in and around the ward.
As the photos are rather wonderful we thought we would make a couple of posts featuring wildlife spotted in various parts of Kingsmead and this is the first, showing what can be found on Cromwell Road Allotments.
We are still asking everyone that has an interest to post any and all of your sightings of wildlife in Kingsmead to Irecord (link below) as this means it will be included onto the main records managed by the Hertfordshire Environmental Records Centre.

Starting with newt corner! Newts spotted in the pond, at the Bee Garden on the allotments plus a wandering newt from another allotment having a newty ponder on a log
